Leathers/Fabrics for Apparel |
Satin Lined Shoulders – Our regular and DURALite™ series leather jackets and cape sleeves are constructed with a smooth satin liner inside the back and shoulders. This allows for increased free-movement and reduced fatigue by eliminating friction against the leather. |
Grain Pigskin – Pigskin is a durable, resilient leather that resists abrasion, stays pliable with wear, withstands stiffening after exposure to moisture, and is lighter in weight than cowhide making this an ideal material for welding protective apparel. |
Gusseted Underarm – This is another comfort feature in our regular series jackets and cape sleeves. The gussets offer more room when the arms are extended, thus reducing drag and fatigue. |
Premium Cowhide – Our U.S.A. cowhide is soft to the touch and provides excellent flexibility. Its dense fiber structure and superior tanning process makes it very durable and abrasion resistant. |
Corduroy Lined Collar – Corduroy provides a soft feel against the neck when the collar is in the stand-up position. This feature is available on our regular and DURALite™ series leather jackets and cape sleeves. |
Standard Cowhide – Our classic brown side split cowhide offers a good balance of durability, abrasion resistance, and pliability for easy movement and good overall performance. |
Reinforced Snaps – Revco’s protective apparel are constructed with durable, rust-free snaps that are reinforced with a leather backing to prevent ripping of the garment. |
FR – Revco uses only the trusted Proban® FR-7A® and Banox® brands of treated in U.S.A. flame-resistant cotton fabrics in 9 oz. and 12 oz. weights to provide lightweight breathable protection. They are washable for up to 50 home laundering cycles without losing their FR property. |
Adjustability – Our protective garments offer various adjustable waist straps, wrist snaps, and webbing straps to ensure your customers get a comfortable fit while they work. |
Nomex® – DuPont’s Nomex® is an inherently flame-resistant aramid fiber. Fabrics made of this fiber are popular choices for high performance protective wear. |

Indura® and Banox® Certified – These 100% cotton fabric choices are specially treated to be flame-resistant for the life of the fabric. |
